SCD will investigate all complaints it receives related to the conduct or actions of a Registered Dietitian. Responding to complaints is one of the ways that SCD fulfills its mandate of protecting the public. When making a complaint to SCD, the Complaints Investigation Form should be used. A panel of the Professional Conduct Committee will review every complaint filed with SCD using the process shown in the Complaints and Investigation Infographic and if required, refer the mater to the Discipline Committee who will conduct a disciplinary hearing.
